Devin River is a textile artist living and working in Olympia, WA. Born in Eugene, OR in 1985, River is self-taught and multidisciplinary, having released three albums of experimental music under the moniker Entrail prior to their current visual arts practice. River combines careful patterning with intuitive sewing to explore the value inherent in materials, labor, and ourselves. Upcoming exhibitions include the Artist Trust Benefit Art Auction in Seattle in March 2026, Chrysalis group exhibition at Thurston County Museum of Fine Art in March 2026, and a solo show at Bar Francis in Olympia in June 2026.
