Devin River (b. 1985, Eugene, OR) is a textile artist living and working in Olympia, WA. They received their BA in sociology with a minor in poetry from the University of Oregon in 2017. As a musician, River released three experimental albums under the moniker Entrail. River is self-taught as a visual artist, employing their education and experience with poetry and music in their textile works. With careful patterning, intuitive sewing, and reclaimed materials, River explores our indelible value as creatures of an increasingly unstable world.
